CONTENT OF THE WORKSHOP
Softness. Connectedness. Presence.

What’s the possible meaning of these terms in dancing CI, in the physical interaction with our own and another person’s body?
How can I create a state of relaxed awareness, where every moment is an invitation to learn and grow and every surprise is a gift?
One part of this Intensive Workshop will be exploring new pathways and expanding our dance to unknown territories. From opening our bodies to all directions on the floor to dynamic interactions in lifts on different levels.

This exploration will be guided by the idea of being fully present with ourselves and our dances, with the space around us, with our partners and with the whole group moving together. We will practice being connected and grounded, yet flexible and open to enjoy spontaneous changes.
“How can I support partners, who are bigger than me and how can I stay light and soft flying on someone else?”
These and other questions will be researched with clearly structured exercises and we will also keep space for exchanging about our experiences and free exploration in the dance. At the end of the day we just want to enjoy growing together.

Gomarduli is a Covid-free place.
It is a mountain resort, the village is about 1 km away, about 40 families live there. We are about 30-40 people living here, those who arrive, are coming with the test or vaccine.

Ulli Wittemann

Die Lust an menschlichem Wachsen und Bewegung hat ihn immer wieder auf neue Wege gelockt. Nach Standardtanz und Hip Hop als Teenager und 27 Jahren mit verschiedenen Kampfkünsten (Judo, Aikido, Kickboxen, Boxen und in den letzten Jahren Muay Thai) entdeckte er 2001 im Rahmen seines Schauspielstudiums Contact Improvisation. Nach acht Jahren und über 1.000 Vorstellungen als Schauspieler am Theater widmet er sich seit 2010 intensiv dem Unterrichten von Bewegung und Schauspiel, Bewußtheit und Kommunikation. In den letzten zehn Jahren hat er Workshops, Klassen und Retreats in vielen Ländern Europas, der Türkei, Israel, Palästina, der Krim, Russland, den USA, Kanada, Thailand, Bali, Japan, China und Indien gegeben. Regelmäßig unterrichtet er Contact Improvisation und sein eigenes PLAYFIGHT System in München und teilt sein neuestes Format ACHTSAME SINNLICHKEIT, das er seit 2019 gemeinsam mit seiner Partnerin Isabelle Pyttel anleitet, mit den Menschen.

Er ist einer der Gründer des Tempelhof Contactfestivals in Süddeutschland und des Conscious Flow Festivals in Indien und hat sieben Ausgaben des Touch&Play Festivals in England, Deutschland und Bali mitorganisiert. Ein weiteres Festival-Projekt, das BODY MIND SOUL Festival fand 2020 zum zweiten Mal bei Ulm statt und sein Natur-Retreat BEING HUMAN findet im August 2021 zum siebten Mal statt.

Die Beschäftigung mit Bewusstheit und Achtsamkeit, das Reisen und die Verbindung zur Natur sind ihm wichtige Quellen von Zufriedenheit und Inspiration, die in seine Unterrichte und Projekte einfließen und ihn als Mensch prägen. Der gemeinsame Weg mit Isabelle und das Hineinwachsen in’s Vater Werden seit 2020 empfindet er als wundervolle und herausfordernde Bereicherung.

In allem, was ich mache, suche ich nach Tiefe und Leichtigkeit, Verbundenheit und Lebensfreude. Diese Qualitäten sind mir auch wichtig in den Räumen, die ich für andere Menschen öffne, sei es beim Unterrichten oder beim Organisieren eines Festivals. Mein Ziel und meine Motivation ist es, als Teil eines Netzwerks motivierter Menschen menschliches Wachsen zu ermöglichen, um in Frieden und Harmonie miteinander zu leben.
